Undergraduate Nurses In Training (UNIT) is the Houston Community College (HCC) chapter of the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA).  UNIT is located at the Coleman College for Health Science in the Texas Medical Center.  UNIT is an important part of your path to success as a Student Nurse.

Our mission is to encourage fellowship, teamwork and professional development while facilitating positive change on campus and in the community at large.

At some point in your career as a Student Nurse you will need a friend to laugh with, a shoulder to lean on, a peer to study with and experience a growing desire to give back to the community we live in. The members of UNIT will be all these to you and more.

Wether you are looking for a social outlet, study resources or a way to make a difference on campus and in the community, you will find what you are looking for in UNIT.

UNIT is comprised entirely of fellow students who have the same goal you have: to become an Registered Nurse. We will all benefit from each others’ support and hard work by coming together to contribute to our common success.
